City Arts Magazine’s Summer Art Walk Awards - Seattle June, 2015

Each quarter three guest judges explore neighborhood artwalks throughout the city to select nine exhibited artworks as finalists. The Art Walk Awards celebrate the finalists and attendees at the event will choose the winners. An ammended version of an installation from the below mentioned Wilderness Peak Trail show chosen to exhibit.

Using the subject of a single spot along a trail located on the back side of Issaquah's Cougar Mountain, this show focuses on the interplay between video rendering and painting. The show consists of two installations containing multiple painted panels and HD video depicting the fall equinox and winter solstice.

Solo exhibit featuring works on canvas, panel, woodcuts and video. This shows subject is my loose interpretation of four different yards. The meaning of each yard for the owner, how they interact with it are explored in different ways.

One of my pieces "Cheasty Wall - Fall 1" has been selected for this event. Arts at the Port is a waterfront venue showcasing contemporary fine art exhibitions. It is located at the far north end of the Festival, in the historic waterfront Port Transit Shed Event Center.
